Anka Yenilenebilir Enerji

Biogas is a combustible gas produced through the processing of biomass. Landfill gas (also known as municipal solid waste gas) is a mixture of various gases generated by the activity of microorganisms in landfill sites. The produced biogas is typically converted into electrical energy and natural gas, which can either be used locally or injected into the electricity grid.

Biogas contains contaminants such as VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) and siloxanes, which can cause significant damage to power generation equipment and gas engines. VOC reduces the performance of gas treatment systems, clog membranes, decrease efficiency in PSA systems, and increase overall energy consumption. In addition, VOC lowers the adsorption capacity of activated carbon beds and increase the frequency of activated carbon media replacement. In RNG projects, VOC may lead to gas rejection by the grid and result in costly operational shutdowns.

Our Regenerative Siloxane Removal System, which originated as an R&D project supported by the Ministry of Industry, has evolved into a system capable of removing nearly 3,000 contaminants, eliminating the need for continuous gas analysis, and providing a stable supply of clean gas. The ANKA Regenerative VOC & Siloxane Removal System is capable of removing contaminants from biogas at efficiencies of up to 99%.

Benefits From Siloxane Removal

These values have been determined based on an average landfill gas power generation facility.
Keep in mind that we need your gas analysis first to know the exact values fro your plant.
